Costa Rica and Nicaragua are great places to become a better surfer.

Although we’re not a beginner camp, novice-and-above surfers will find waves that are fun and challenging. Novices are welcome in either Costa Rica – Session 1 and/or Session 2. Our Nicaragua program is geared toward experienced surfers.

QUESTIONS ABOUT SKILL LEVEL? INQUIRE

In-Depth: What is a Novice? Novices are at the second level of surfing experience. Novice surfers: *have surfed (more than) a few times on consecutive days; *can paddle-out through breaking waves in moderate surf; *are familiar with basic surf etiquette and line-ups; *usually surf a longboard, but may experiment with smaller boards; *are able to catch waves without assistance … but struggle with surfing mechanics.
