The SGT Argentina backcountry experience is a life changing event. The SGT family will host and guide high-level skiers and snowboarders as deep into the Andes as they wish to venture. Our home resort of Catedral offers an extremely diverse selection of terrain. A single run can access high-alpine bowls, narrow chutes, steep faces, trees and low-angle powder fields. SGT’s guides and staff are all long-time veterans of the region and not only have local knowledge of the landscape and near-by city, but have discovered many of the jewels of the Andes snow kingdom. The SGT staff will led crews utilizing expert training and a zen like ability to find the snow that others have no idea exists. Rincon has 16 named surf spots including Sandy Beach, Marias, Domes, Antonios, River mouth, Jobos, Middles and many more lesser-known breaks. These breaks all have easy access and start at 2 feet and go as big as you want.

The Rincon surf is due to the particular way in which the wind works and interacts with the geography of the area.  There is always a good spot to surf and Rincon Surf School will take you to the one best suited for you each day.
