Ben Girardi, SGT’s staff photographer down here in Argentina, has been keeping a running tally of the sickness from down here in Bariloche.  Here’s a few gems from the past few days that should keep you slaking for winter…

Head Coach Andrew Burns, back 7 to stomp.  First try, no warm up.

Peter Wentz dropping another cliff in Laguna.  Oh, boy is it fun in there.

Ski Coach and Bariloche loc-dog Mauri Cambilla with signature estilo Mauriciano on the Militares hip jump.  Alley-oop 3 nose grab.

Mauri Cambilla on the Frey trail back to Cerro Catedral.  To cap off our AIARE Level 1 class with SNC professor Travis Feist, we decided to explore the entire length of the Van Teter drainage off the back of the resort.  Saw about 15 chutes I didn’t know exist, amazing views of the Zebra Chutes and the whole Van Titter valley, plus getting to watch Ben G. tele-ski his splitboard down a sketchy hiking trail.  It’s all in the name of adventure down here.

Keep up with the image stoke at http://bengirardi.blogspot.com/.  Also big ups to coaches Andrew Burns and Nicki Slechta for sweeping the Rip Curl slopestyle competition yesterday and for Chase Josey for slaying to 3rd and Randall Stacy to 4th!  Can’t wait for the Reef Girl contest later this week…
