Piers Solomon, or as we like to call him, “the Semi-Swiss”, was born and raised in Switzerland calling Engleberg home. His British father and American mother taught him to travel early in life, speak multiple languages and, of course, ski. Piers is one of the most solid and confident skiers on the planet. His high-end racing background has given him a deep understanding of the technical side of skiing, and is always capable of giving you that next piece of advice that will take you to the next level. He truly is one of the most impressive skiers to watch, but his modesty would never let you know it. His professional career is only growing and he graced the cover of more than a few magazines over the past two years with his signature turn. He joined us as a client at just 18 and blew us away with his ability and even more impressive mountain awareness. Piers has completed his AIARE Level II Avalanche Training Course and is Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certified. He skis professionally for DPS Skis, Patagonia and ZEAL Optics.
