Marissa Ensley – Living on the edge…The Rockstar edition!

First things first I’m rockstars #1 Fan! I would bring Clay Marzo. Why well you can some him up in three words Complete Bad A**. He rides that surf board like no other! He is incredible at what he does! Lets just be honest is there really anything that would be better than surfing with him and drinking rockstars… um hello heck no there would be nothing better! He is so Boss! Also I’m going to guess he is super chill and thats always a great thing and hey I’m not complaning about his good looks!

Taury Person – A Day in My Life

A Day Surfing with Marilyn Monroe would be amazing. The mere fact that me and her would be together in bathing suits would be breathtaking. First I would make sure she wore a g-string and then get her out paddling on a long board. I would make sure and have my go pro camera rigged up on the board to get some exquisite footage and then after a good surf session it would be back to land to enjoy a luau on the beach with Marilyn Monroe…….

Bill Smith – Surfing thru time!!!!

I would have to pick Albert Einstien so once he figured out time travel we could slip thru timne on our boards checking out all the monster waves of yesteryear that were missed cause we had to work inside on beautiful surfing days! To my BOSS YOUR FIRED IM GOING SURFING WITH EINSTIEN!!! Off to the beach to catch tsunami sized ROCKSTAR WAVES surfing into history to stop the depression of 2011!!

James Benson – Someone who knows the feeling…

It’d be way too damn easy to choose Craig Kelly, Gerry Lopez, or some other archetypal soul-surfer-type to learn from and hang out with. But let’s be honest: In the water I’d never keep up with them, and out of the water I’d be so starstruck that I’d be to busy yattering like a fool trying to impress that there would be no real learning.
No, I’d prefer to bring a non-surfer. Someone who has never even considered the possibility of the concept of riding a pulse of energy across time and space. But still someone who would still intuitively get it. A complete newb, but not a kook.
I’m thinking something along the lines of a pre-contact inhabitant of turtle island. Someone who is very much in touch with the way energy ebbs and flows through life; someone who is backed by an existence earned from a lifetime of feeling the rhythm of the seasons; someone who has the appropriate degree of calm-mindedness required to break a wild horse and ride it bareback.
I’d imagine that databank of sensitivity to sensory input and skilled observation, properly sped up and applied to water, would result in an uncanny knack for knowing the proper trim required to pull into a barrel, to make the drop and rail a solid bottom turn to set up for the upcoming section. To play witness to this would be the greatest thrill of all – like seeing the evolution of surf from the early Polynesians taking a shortcut in from fishing to today’s big-wave tow-in lunatics. In the span of a week. To play a role in the genesis of this t’would be a helluva thing.

Jason Suarez – Ned the Shar!

I would like to surf with Rob Machado, because i enjoy his style in surfing and how he can be relaxed on a wave 100% of the time. If i could surf with him it would be the best time of my life! I would bring him to Cabarete, so i could learn a couple of moves and how to ned the shar better!!
