Based at Kiroro Resort to maximize our time spent where it snows the most, our itinerary retains the flexibility to explore some of the best backcountry and in-bounds terrain that Japan has to offer. You may not even look out the window in the mornings anymore. As you wake up for the fifth night in a row, there’s even more fresh snow outside. The glow of daylight peers through the clouds… and even though you haven’t seen the sun in nearly a week, it doesn’t matter. You roll out of bed and treat yourself to an amazing buffet breakfast before gearing up and meeting the rest of the crew.

Whether its endless powder at Kiroro or the enchanted trees of Moiwa, with over 900 ski areas in Japan and over half located on Hokkaido, Japan is a powderhunters dream. From pillow lines to short-pitch steeps and tree skiing that’s widely considered the best in the world, your guide will take you to the best spot on any given day. If we are looking to get away from the lifts for the day and push our limits a bit further, we have unreal access to limitless backcountry spots right out our door or we can head to for a day tour to an abandoned ski area or the top of a nearby volcano. If the snow is piling up after dark, no worries. We will head over for some laps in fun and playful terrain under the lights.

We keep the groups small and make sure everyone is on the same page in terms of both skill level and desired terrain. Our groups never exceed a 5 to 1 client to guide ratio giving you direct access to your guide or coach and keeping the pace up for the entire crew.
