PETE CONNOLLY – VP Communications / Mountain Operations Director / Head Guide

Pete Connolly is SASS Global Travel’s VP of Communications and Mountain Operations Director and Lead Guide in Japan and Argentina. After moving to Colorado after college to become a guide he worked at Silverton Mountain before transitioning to a full-time role with SASS. An advocate for proper backcountry protocol, he takes great pride in teaching our clients about mountain safety and integrates constant experiential education into every day on-hill. He will know every single client’s name by the end of the first day and is the one in charge of creating groups. Pete is a natural leader and has completed his AIARE Level II Avalanche Training Course, is Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Certified and holds his Avalanche Blaster’s License.
