Get Travel Insurance
GLOBAL RESCUE: We include basic medical evacuation coverage (at $12.50 USD per day) as a line item on most trip invoices, provided by Global Rescue. It covers up to $250,000 USD in medical evacuation/field rescue (it’s optional – adult clients can waive this by emailing us). But, Global Rescue is not insurance – it does not pay for medical treatment, it only pays for your rescue and medical transport. This evacuation coverage is a “minimum” level and we suggest that you consider adding on a full-featured travel insurance policy below.
Most US insurance policies do not provide medical coverage in Argentina. We recommend Global Rescue — specialists in adventure travel insurance. This isn’t a gimmick; we have clients use their travel insurance every year for medical reasons, lost luggage (they cover your rental gear), flight delay-related costs and much more. Also, if you miss days of the program, get injured or can’t attend because of a covered reason, they’ll reimburse you for the days of the program you miss! It’s available to US, Canadian, and most international clients.
