Session 5: VIP Week
The SASS Argentina Session 5 VIP Week is a small group experience for adult clients, blending professional on-mountain guiding with upgraded lodging and independent dining. All apartments feature kitchens with a choice of shared or private bedrooms. Unlike other SASS sessions, breakfast is the only meal included giving clients the opportunity to explore additional dining options both throughout the base area and in the town of Bariloche.
IFSA Athletes at SASS Argentina
Over the past few seasons, we have seen more and more IFSA athletes come down to SASS Argentina for summer training in full-on winter conditions. SASS Argentina is the perfect opportunity for freeride athletes looking to get a leg up on the competition the coming season or gain avalanche awareness and experience in the backcountry. Practicing natural airs, line selection, flow and overall confidence is difficult on the glaciers. These athletes below joined us and took their skiing and riding to the next level.

SASS Argentina is the perfect opportunity for freeride athletes to get on big mountain terrain during the summer months. In addition to limitless freeride terrain and full-on winter conditions, SASS Argentina is a unique experiential education platform for gaining backcountry awareness and learning more about avalanche safety. We pride ourselves on not just showing you to the goods, but also teaching you how to find those goods on your own in the future. Glaciers just don’t cut it when your goal is to improve your line selection, confidence, terrain management, flow and air awareness on natural features.

SASS Argentina is an unreal opportunity for USASA athletes to push their skiing or riding in an alternative direction during the summer months. We offer competitive athletes the ability to take their skills into big mountain terrain in full-on winter conditions and build upon their foundation with avalanche awareness education, splitboarding and skinning clinics, line selection practice, backcountry jump building sessions, and much more. Skiing and snowboarding has evolved immensely and we offer a unique platform for learning and progression in a ridiculously fun environment with some of the world’s top pros, guides and coaches.
SASS Japan 2017 Recap
SASS Japan 2017 just might have been our best season on Hokkaido ever. No joke. The snow, the people, the culture, the vibes and the food (did we mention the snow?) made it an unforgettable experience for everyone who joined us. “Deepest day of my life” was a common refrain. It was backcountry skiing in Japan at it’s finest. We are still buzzing from the stoke we received throughout the season from our clients and we couldn’t have done it without each one of our guides doing what they do best.
